Rules for Submission:
- Haiku submitted should be in accordance with the haiku spirit, sensibility and phrasing discussed in About Autumn Moon Haiku Journal. Please read this updated section prior to submitting.
- Send up to TWO original unpublished haiku for each issue through email (Subject line: Autumn Moon Haiku Journal) in the body of the email, no attachments allowed, to: tanchopress@gmail.com. You may also send by letter addressed to: Bruce Ross, 499 Broadway, PMB 127, Bangor, ME 04401, USA.
- Write each haiku in your original language, if not English, with an English translation, which might be smoothed out by the editors.
- Each haiku should ideally be structured in three short/long/short horizontal lines, though one line horizontal haiku will be considered.
- If seasonal, the haiku submitted should be in accordance with the seasons of the issue for which it is submitted.
- Please note that given the fact we only look at the haiku submitted, to be impartial, after the submission deadline has passed, we cannot acknowledge receipt of submissions by email prior to that (as we don't want to have seen the haiku already). Therefore, you will only hear about your submission AFTER the deadline.
